Kashmir solution must for sustained Pak-India ties

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has said that the Kashmiris will never abandon pursuit of their struggle for settlement of the Kashmir dispute till it reaches its logical conclusion.
Addressing a party convention at Butengo in Sopore, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt ruled out a peaceful relationship between Pakistan and India without resolving the Kashmir problem as per wishes of the Kashmiris.Senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah addressing party activists in Srinagar said that India was making all-out efforts to put the long-pending dispute in cold storage but the Kashmiris would never allow New Delhi to succeed in its heinous designs.
Indian police arrested APHC leader and the Chairperson of Muslim Khawateen Markaz, Yasmeen Raja along with several other women activists during an anti-India protest demonstration at Lal Chowk in Srinagar.
Hurriyet leader, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement in Srinagar said that India was blatantly violating the democratic principles in Kashmir and even court orders were flouted.
The journalists working with various organizations in a statement complained that the Indian troops had harassed them while they were covering protests at Palhallan in Baramulla district. They said that the Indian army used abusive language and restricted their movement during the recent protests.
