Amir Cheema’s dead body to reach Lahore airport

RAWALPINDI: Dead body of Amir Cheema allegedly tortured to death in a German prison will reach Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore today (Saturday). His burial will take place at Sarooqi Town.
District Coordination Officer DCO Hamid Ali Khan and District Police Officer Rawalpindi Saud Aziz in a meeting with Amir’s father Professor Nazir Ahmad Cheema that took place at latter’s residence informed about the arrangements made for carrying the dead body from Germany to Pakistan.
It was learnt the dead body would be flown from Germany to Pakistan early Saturday morning via first available flight of PIA destined for Lahore.
The dead body will be dispatched to the town of Sarooqi Cheema located in the suburbs of Wazirabad for burial.
DCO and DPO requested Professor Nazir and his family members to accompany them to Lahore, it was told.
Father of allegedly killed Amir Cheema and other family members would fly to Lahore today (Saturday) morning for receiving the dead body.
Sources told Rawalpindi Administration has assured Amir’s family members that the local government of Gujranwala would make all arrangements regarding Amir’s funeral and burial.
Local administration has request for a helicopter from the army for dispatching the dead body to the native village from Lahore, sources informed.
Meanwhile, German ambassador in Pakistan Dr. Gunter Mulack has said that during a high level investigation conducted following the death of Pakistani national Aamir Cheema no evidence has been found about his death due to violence nor he has been subjected to torture in prison cell adding that Aamir Cheema has committed suicide.
He said this while addressing a press conference here Friday. He told that Aamir Cheema was not subjected to violence and his death was suicidal death.
He held that German authorities don’t want to enter into further debate over the matter till the performance of funeral rituals of Aamir Cheema. The investigation report carried out by judicial committee will soon be made public, he added.
Responding to a question he said that the cell was not kept under 24 hours monitoring in which Aamir Cheema was imprisoned nor secret cameras were installed in therein through which it could be ascertained when Aamir Cheema committed suicide.
German ambassador said he equally shared the grief of family members of Aamir Cheema. Pakistan sensitive agency FIA had also representation in judicial committee set up following the death of Aamir Cheema.
Judicial committee report will soon be transmitted to Pakistan, he indicated. A letter was also found from Aamir Cheema, which was handed over by German government to family of the deceased through Pakistan authorities.
German ambassador told that Pakistan authorities were briefed about the report in an important meeting with the foreign office officials here on Friday.

Foreign Office spokesman Tasneem Aslam has held out assurances that reports to establish the cause of Amir Cheema’s death will be finalized within one to two days alongwith his corpse as the 2-member Pakistani investigation team has finalized its investigation report in Germany.
Talking to a private TV channel late Friday, Foreign Office spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said German ambassador to Pakistan was summoned to Foreign Office to let him know about Pakistan’s concerns over mysterious death of Amir Cheema.
She said Additional Director General FIA was sent to Germany for detailed investigation and he visited the Cell where Amir Cheema was kept as a prisoner. She added that he also held meeting with German Deputy Governor to collect the required information and he met with the relatives of Cheema.
Additional Director General FIA also had a meeting with German investigation team before finalizing his report that, she claimed, would be made public within a day or two.

Investigations |
Investigations are being conducted by, those who allegedly killed Mr. Cheema, GERMAN Authorities in the presence of, those who are making best efforts to prove that everyone who is terrorist in the eyes of West is infect a true terrorist, the Pakistani officials.
In these circumstances, what would be the result of so called Investigations, anyone can guess right now.
We do not know whether he committed suicide or he was murdered by the civilized people, but we do HOPE that a postmortem of his body would be done here in Pakistan to know at least a little truth.

I think the govt of Pakistan should ask the govt of Germany not only to say sorry, but also to compansate what has happened. Also there are so many Pakistani students, so their safety should be discussed.

I think he is killed only becuase he was mulsim and a pakistani and if Pak goverment have little shame then he should punish who are responsible for his innocent death.

our deepest sympthy goes to cheema family on death of mr cheema but in pakistan the politcal parties are using death of mr cheema for there personal agenda, please people of pakistan don't let them fool you, our wounds from what they did in lahore are not heald

The Truth |
BBC has already reported that there were no signs of torture or physical strain. I studied in EU twice and cannot believe EU police can kill in custody. Probably he commited suicide, but what is more important is that he had planned an attack on the German newspaper which reporduced the unfortunate cartoons of Mohammad Saheb(I personally condemn those). Also BBC reports that 30000 people gathered in Pak for his funeral, making it look like that people there support the violent/terrorist types, which is not ture of the majority in Pak.

i am living in the uk and working here as well.
1.what i cannot understand is that either aamir attacked the editor of the newspaper or was it just a threat,b/c i have been reading on a very reliable source that he only threatened editor and he had not attacked the editor of the newspaper.
i want to give a personal example here,the place where i work , one of my colleagues's father threatened to attack us all for some unknown reasons....and so our organization banned his(father) entry in premisis...but the(father) couple of days ago tried to run one of our staff members by his car,and we can still see him hovering around in car park ......so guys police is very very soft for him b/c he is a white-british..i just wanted to say that police here has different standards for white and asians.
2. another thing which amazes me is that some agency is mentioned that he was a psycho....my question to them is if he was a psycho
a.why was an initial assessment not made that whether he is at risk for himself or for others.
b.if he was at risk of harming himself or others why was he not put to one to one observations.
c.why was he not assessed by psychiatrists.
3.Finally i am amzed at the camera thing...well here in europe there are camers every where even in offices,entries to buildings and even in buses and in trains......these cameres are for security of people and staff,if ammir cheema was a security risk to himself/others why was not he put under 24-hr survelliance....i am not satisfied with the statement that cameras were not there to regard privacy....my dear if somebody/others are not safe then safety comes prior to privacy.
4.i request Pkistani Govenment to do amir cheema postmortem by doctors of his family choice.
5.Govermment of Germany should be sued regarding
'failure of safe custody of a Pakistani citizen'.
6.the day when ammir supposedly attacked/threatened the editor....they must have cctv recordings...it should be made public so that we can see waht actually happened,plus when he was interrogated..iam sure that the police must have a cctv recording..it must be made publc as well.

Think About It ... |
Countries like Germany who think that they have most modern ways of investigation, how can u people ignore the fact that why would some one like Amir(Shaheed) will commit suicide when he had the courage to enter in a building to kill someone? And I am sure he must be well aware of the consequences.

a small incident of AMIR cheema's life |
assalamoalikum aamir cheema use to be a teacher in our university and all hiss colegues says that he was a brave man and can never commit a sucide. i have heard a small but interesting incident of AMIr's life from the people near him
he use to work in an office in Germany and the flor of that office was decorated with tiles . those tiles became old and Amir felt that the name Muhammad had been originated on that florr of the office so he at once reported the manager that this is the name of our prophet and i cant walk on it, the manager agreed on the condition that i will ask some other muslims also to attest ur sayings if they will be in ur favour i will definitely change the tiles structure and replace them. The manager brought some muslims who after seeing that desighned denied that no its not the name of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). and the case went against aamir cheema.
So what was in his hands now he could only do one thing which was the only possibility at that time and it was..... He left that job for ever.
this was AMIR's love for prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and what ever he did was the requirement of HIS imaan
and the same thing that if a person dares to cross a crowd and kill a man he can never be so coward that he with the fear of hanging kills him self its all politics and a war against Islam
and i dont know uptill when our government will keep on supporting these kinds of incidents in otherinterest not our
by sayig this i pay a tribute to aamir cheema (shaheed)

asloalykum well the signs show that this man cant comitt suicide becouse he was brave enought to take that bold step and to try to kill the GHUSTAKH then he must now that wat is the status of suicide in islam he done that for allah and his mighty messenger peace be upon him then it means he knew the reward he was going to get number 2 if we analyze the life and behaviour of every great person who done some thing like that we will come to know that these ppl cant comitt suicide 3: even if he comitetd suicide even then it is the responsibility of germen government and our government has been lazy and apologatic our government must take bold step toward this matter instead of being passive like they are now and trying to hide the seriousness of the matter
in the end i would pray may allah punish all gustakhan and those who martyrd cheema and may allah give us a chance to prove our love to rasool allah peace be upon him
