LAHORE: Opposition polity has berated and sharply criticized governmental attitude over the martyrdom of Aamir Cheema, during his custody among German police.

The deputy parliamentary leader of MMA, Hafiz Hussain Ahmad, accused Foreign office for dancing to the tunes of its western bosses. So much so, that federal government is even hesitant in recording its official protest to the German government, which was quite condemnable.

Hafiz Hussain Ahmad said that government should have announced a public holiday for the burial occasion, and the burial should have commenced with full official honors. He deemed this as total failure of government on both internal and external fronts.

MMA leader and Amir of JI, Professor Ghafoor considered it a matter of deep disrespect to stop majority of crowds headed for funeral. Rather it would have been appropriate for the spirit of the occasion that PM should have personally welcomed the funeral services.

Other notables of MMA, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, Pir Ijaz Ahmad Hashmi, and Maulana Muhammad Amjad Jan also berated the failure of participation of Federal religious minister and other senior officials of government in the funeral of Amir Cheema Shaheed.

They paid glowing tributes to the martyred youth, equaling his status with that of Ghazi Ilimdin Shaheed, and cautioned the west that spirit of Islam and Muslims’ reverence for their beloved Prophet (MPBUH) cannot be stemmed with tortures and murders.

Meanwhile, other MMA notables, Maulana Rashid Ludhainvi , Allama Abdul Mubeen Naqvi, Maulana Shafiq Pusroori, etc have demanded immediate cessation of all diplomatic ties with Germany.
