According to Pakistan's constitution, Article 6 – high treason states:

6.  High treason [(1) Any person who abrogates or subverts or suspends or holds in abeyance, or attempts or conspires to abrogate or subvert or suspend or hold in abeyance, the Constitution by use of force or show of force or by any other unconstitutional means shall be guilty of high treason.]

(2) Any person aiding or abetting 2[or collaborating] the acts mentioned in clause (1) shall likewise be guilty of high treason.

3[(2A) An act of high treason mentioned in clause (1) or clause (2) shall not be validated by any court including the Supreme Court and a High Court.]

(3) 4[Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament)] shall by law provide for the punishment of persons found guilty of high treason.

In the light of above Article, PML-N Govt. invoked High Treason Trial agaisnt Former President and Gen.(r) Pervez Musharraf. But some political parties raised the questions, why the government singled out only Musharraf? Why not the Abbettors and Collaborators?

Now-a-days, Musharraf is in Military Hospital and under treatment after complaining of chest pains while being driven to the court. Separate reports in Los Angeles Times and CBSNEWS claimed that Musharraf may leave the country by the end of this month for treatment.

1:- Why not the governmet shows its interest to invoke the Article 6 against Collaborators and Abbettors?

2:- What do you think, will Gen.(r) Musharraf leave the country for treatment?

3:- What will happen with the case, if Gen.(r) Musharraf leave the country?
