Problem of Mangla dam affectees to be solved according to their will: Attique

MIRPUR: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan has said that all the matters and problem of Mangla Dam affectees would be solved according to their will.
President Gen Pervez Musharraf has already issued directives to fulfill all the legal demands of affectees; the Prime Minister stated this while talking to delegation of affectees of Mangla Dam here on Saturday.
The Prime Minister AJK further said that the reservations, which were being expressed by the affectees, would be removed at all cost. He went on to say that President General Pervez Musharraf has approved an attractive compensation package for affectees of Mangla Dam, which would be implemented 100 percent.
Kashmiris living in United Kingdom are playing active role for the development and prosperity of AJK and the reservations in this regard that were expressed by them are being resolved, he remarked.
He said that Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) would fulfill its responsibilities regarding Mangla raising project.
The Prime Minister added that the initial construction work of Rotohya Ayam Bridge and laying out water and sewerage pipeline work in Mirpur City and in its hamlets has been started.
Both projects would be completed with estimated cost of Rs. 4.5 billion and Government of Pakistan has allocated budget in this respect according to special programme, Prime Minister AJK Sardar Attique Ahmad Kahn asserted.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister AJK visited residence of Chaudhry Shakeel Ahmad brother of Secretary Muslim Conference UK and Europe and expressed his heartfelt condolences over the sad demise of his mother in law.
Likewise, Prime Minister AJK Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan also expressed condolence with family members of Leader Muslim Conference Afzal Pur late Raja Mehmood Khan. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the deported soul of Raja Mehmood Khan in eternal peace and grant patience and fortitude to the bereaved family to beat this loss.
Later, the Prime Minister on his two day visit left for Bagh where he is schedule to meet with Members AJK Legislative Assembly besides meeting with Senior Minister Malik Muhammad Nawaz.
