Reader Comments:

Glimpses of the coming events.

The Choudhri Bros. are mere pawns in the hand of Musharraf. Most broke from PML(N) seeing the change in the wind. Now that both BB and Sharif are scheduled to come very soon, the turf for all parties is likely to be much hotter than before. No one might secure a majority at the polls. It will only be money that will decide which party secures more votes. But a hung parliament will once again open the flood-gate of corruption. There will be another coalition and the repetition of past polity performances. However, with the activism of the judiciary, the parties will come under strict regulation for conducting inter-party elections and submitting audited books of accounts to the Election Commission. It might create a slight improvement but again even democracy needs, what is called in Punjab: "Dunda pir ay wigrhian trihigdian da." However, this time the "Danda" has already passed from the Army to the judiciary.
