MUZAFFARABAD: Chairman Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) Altaf Saleem has said that on going development work in quake devastated areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir would be completed at earliest.

Inaugurating clean water scheme here in Tarna on Saturday following visiting different areas of AJK, the Chairman ERRA assured earthquake affectees for provision of every basic facilities.

Earlier, Chairman ERRA Altaf Saleem along with Chief Executive Officer of Agha Khan Foundation Alnasher Jamal visited Chakama, Union Council of Muzaffarabad to review the progress of ongoing different projects under the aegis of Agha Khan Foundation.

The Chairman on the occasion said that Agha Khan Development Net Work are establishing fruit and vegetable nurseries which would provide better livelihood to earthquake survivors of AJK.

He also reviewed the health facilities being given to earthquake survivors, besides reviewing the samples of houses and the prices of construction materials in construction hub.

Altaf Saleem lauded the services of Agha Khan Foundation and said the foundation is providing its services in 14 villages of Union Council Chakama following Oct 8, 2005 devastated earthquake.
