ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Minister for Industries Affairs Mangla Dam Chaudhry Muhammad Yousaf has said that upraising mega project of Mangla Dam worth Rs. 62 million would be completed at all cost.

Some anti state elements are creating hurdle in upraising project of Mangla Dam, he stated this while talking to Online on Friday.

The economic situation of Pakistan including AJK would be improved following completion of uprising project of Mangla Dam, he maintained.

We are in favour of uprising project of Mangla Dam and contradicted the news about launching of protest movement by masses of Mirpur against the project, the Minister remarked.

The Minister went on to say that anti Pakistan lobby is trying to create a situation in Mirpur akin to Kala Bagh and Basha Dam.

AJK Minister for Industries Affairs added that accord between government of AJK and Government of Pakistan for Kashmir Affairs on Mangla Dam uprising project would soon be implemented.

AJK Government would not leave affectees of Mangla Dam alone and their reservation in this regard would be removed at all cost, he added. 

The Minister favoured the policies of President General Pervez Musharraf.
