07 March, 2007
RERAH: Lambasting the complex criteria of ERRA and the government, opposition leader in the AJK Legislative Assembly, Sardar Qamruz Zaman Khan has said the government is not sincere in resolution of masses` problems.
"The quake-affected people are puzzled by the complex policies of Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority and have resorted to launch protest against the government and the Authority," he added.
Qamruz Zaman expressed these views while addressing a corner meeting here on Wednesday. He said the AJK government did not pay heed to the problems of the quake-stricken people.
About 30 percent affected people have so far not received the compensation worth Rs. 75,000. "Survey of 25 percent houses have not been conducted," he added.
He said a mammoth rally would be taken out against the policies of government and ERRA in Bagh on March 13.
