'Nation's emancipation lies in teachings, Sunnah of Prophet (PBUH)'

Pakistan Muslim League-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in his message to nation on the holy birthday of Muhammad (PBUH) has said that the day of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal has recalled to draw light for comprehensive guidance in every sector from the teachings and Sunnah of the holy prophet (PBUH).

In his message released here Thursday, the PML-N Quaid said that the day of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal had provided Ummah to study the whole life of prophet (PBUH), which is a paragon and beacon light toward the right path.

Referring to the life of Muhammad (PBUH), he noted that he (PBUH) had never compromise on principles and tolerated the very critical situations of the time.

"The Ummah is passing through worst crisis in history due to deviation from the path defined by Muhammad (PBUH)," he said adding that the Ummah should abide by Islamic values and teachings to get rid of current turmoil.

Islam is the religion of peace and security, moderation and brotherhood but the religion is subjected to blurring and baseless propaganda, he regretted.

He said that anti-Islam elements had been victimizing innocent Muslims included male, female and children to worse kind of terrorism in Kashmir, Philistine and Iraq.

He called for greater unity and solidarity among various segments of nation to foil the nefarious designs of anti-social elements and anti-country forces.

End.
