ISLAMABAD: Nation would celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW) with religious fervor across the country on Tuesday (today).

Public holiday has been declared on the auspicious ocassion. All the government and semi-government buildings will be illuminated.

The day would dawn with 31 gun salutes and 21 gun salutes in provincial capital on the auspicious occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW).

In this regard, a two-day International Seerat Conference is being organized here on April 12-13 at the Jinnah Convention Center.

President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will address in the conference.

Prominent Ulemas and Scholars from all over the country and abroad will attend the conference and present their views on Seerat of the Holy Prophet (PBHU).

Prize Distribution Ceremony will also take place in the concluding session of the conference wherein the outstanding position leaders in the Book Competition-2006 will be awarded.

Meanwhile the administration of twin cities is making elaborate security arrangements in Federal Capital to avoid any untoward incident on the auspicious ocassion, and police and other security agencies will also be present on key points to maintain law and order in this respect.

Meanwhile, President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz have said 12th Rabbi ul Awal is the most blissful day for the Muslims for its being the birthday of last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

In their message to public on the eve of Eid Milad un Nabi, they congratulated brotherly Muslims on being blessed to celebrate such a splendid day and asked them to express their gratitude to God for choosing them to be Muslims.

President General Pervez Musharraf said Holy Prophet (PBUH) guided the humanity toward right path and accomplished the mission of God marvelously whereby God blessed him (PBUH) with the title of last prophet and selected Islam as His most favorite religion.

He said Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was the ever-best model of virtue, justice, equity, love and compassion that taught humanity, the lesson of peace, love and brotherhood. He added that God declared Prophet (PBUH) "Mercy for the world" and that Muslims should faithfully carry on spreading the teachings of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH).

In his message to the nation Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said, "Muslims are celebrating the blissful day with devotion and fervor and Muslims all over the world sternly adhere to the faith that Prophet (PBUH) is the last prophet of God so it explicitly implies a duty on the Muslims to spread the message of Islam to the generations to come".

He said Islam condemns terrorism therefore a Muslim must always be considered the ambassador of peace and love whose aim of life had ever been to struggle, for the uplift of love, compassion, knowledge and also for uprooting terrorism, inequity, injustice and other evils from the surface of earth.

In their message on Eid Milad un Nabi Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain President ruling PML and party secretary general Mushahid Hussain Syed said that last Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) presented the international charter of human rights which nevertheless is beacon for international community. He added that Muslims had the obligation to spread the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) all over the world.
