India to give free treatment to 20 more Pak children

NEW DELHI, Nov 04 (Online): Carrying forward the humanitarian approach towards Pakistani people, India Thursday decided to give free medical treatment to 20 more children of that country, raising to 60 the number of such patient receiving the treatment here.
"The Government of India has sanctioned free medical treatment of another batch of Pakistani children," External Affairs Ministry spokesman Navtej Sarna said here.
This scheme enables needy and seriously ill children of Pakistan to get quality medical treatment free of cost in India.
Under the scheme launched early last year, the Indian government pays the air fare and accommodation for the child and one guardian.
