Attiq, Sultan expresses sorrow over Ishaq Zafar`s death

ISLAMABAD: Sardar Attiq Ahmad Khan, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir and the former PM AJK Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry expressed their profound sorrow over the death of Former Pakistan Peoples Party President Sahibzada Ishaq Zafar.

In separate condolence messages the leaders lauded the politics of principles being practiced by the late leader. Barrister Sultan said that the late politician`s death has deprived me of a good friend and elder brother.

We struggle together from a single platform for ten years in the political field. Courtesy, decency and commitment was his fundamental way of politics. As senior minister in my cabinet he performed his duties honestly.

Sardar Attiq condoling the death with the family of Ishaq Zafar said that he belonged to a religious family and always practiced politics of principles. Sardar Abdul Qayyum too expressed his condolence over the sad demise in a separate message and prayed for the deliverance of deceased.
