ANF arrest smugglers including 3 female in separate operation

RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) have arrested six smugglers including three female smugglers in three separate operation and recovered drugs worth millions of rupees from their possession here on Saturday.

As per details, Force Commander Regional Directorate ANF Rawalpindi, Breg. Tahir Saleem on the tip of constituted a special team in the supervision of Assistant Director ANF Captain Junaid Ali , who conducted a raid near Pir Wadhai Moor, the hub of smuggling, and held three female smugglers Taj Baroo (Widow), Qadar Gul (Widow) and Zeenat daughter of Amir Gul of Pubi District Nowshera and recovered 740 grams of heroin, 300 grams of poppy from their possession.

During the second raid ANF authorities held Zulfiqar Ali s/o Ghulam Gillani residence of Islamabad Airport Khariyan and recovered two kilograms of heroin form his possession.

Police has also arrested Kamran Ahmad s/o Muhammad Younis residence of Satellite town. He was rushed to the hospital where the doctor retrieved 61 drugs capsule from his stomach. He was going to China.

Meanwhile, an ANF team in the supervision of Assistant Director Amir Subtain Kazmi, who conducted a raid on Makki Hotel situated at G.T Road Jhelum and arrested Farhan Khan s/o Faqir Muhammad residence of Kashmir colony Faizabad Jhelum and recovered 12 kilograms of chars from his possession.

Police has registered the separate case against all of arrested accused under the Narcotics control Act.
