Trojan was ambitious of fame, and as long as mankind shall continue to bestow more liberal applause on their destroyers than on their benefactors, the thirst of military glory will ever be the vice of the most exalted characters."Edward Gibbon

The world toady has reverberated again after the 1998 nuclear tests by India and Pakistan with North Korea conducting nuclear tests. Even Pakistan may not have nukes if there had not been the Afghan war and the country had not helped the Uncle Sam to become the sole super power of the world.

To be very sane and honest, it is immoral for the humanity to possess the weapons of mass destruction. But, again the world today is haunted by fear of the more powerful.  It is easy for the strong to issue threat of obliteration to the weak leaving for it no option but to by it.

Fear is the main driving force for the weak ones to establish some basics of protection and security. Even in South Asia, Mr Advani had declared, immediately after India had conducted their nuclear tests, that time of decisive battle with Pakistan had arrived.

It was only after Pakistan tests two weeks later that such threats ceased all together. Besides the threat, a bloody attack accompanying Advani’s threats, resulted into the killing of dozens Pakistani in Kashmir. Kargil conflict may have taken its birth then, but nuclear blasts delayed it for a year.

With weak fearing strong, poor fearing rich and disadvantaged fearing their very existence, fear is the most haunted and driving force to search for survivals. It becomes even more of an obsession if the weak is surrounded and cornered and isolated. The nations may toe the line of the most powerful on earth just for the sake of appeasing the overlords; the reality cannot be ignored about the apathy of the weak.

One doesn’t have to be blind, but Internet is wide open with flooded views and news and obliteration threats to the silent weak. Today, the world is living under the laws of the jungle, where only those, who can protect themselves, can survive. Even the very nice people can get washed away like snow in a rain.

No one criticizes or speaks against the evil done by the strong, and the strong doesn’t even give a darn damn to listen or hear a word about some one criticizing him. Worst yet, the lesser strong or even the weak ones appear to approve the principle of "Might is right" to be curried with the fever of being eaten last and not first of all.

The threats of obliteration are coming from the governments and the people of the strong nations, as if the right to kill and to nuke the non-nuclear is a right of pleasure and choice conduct. The whole human kind need be bestowed shame on, as the weak have been rendered not only powerless but warned of obliteration and being bombed to the Stone Age.

Possession of nuclear weapons is sin whether it is America, Russia, Britain, China, France, Israel, India, Pakistan and now North Korea. The world had been very close to brinkmanship and survived just because of sheer good luck. The only time nuclear weapons were ever used was by a nuclear nation on a non-nuclear state.

The weak is always sitting duck for the mighty ones. A cornered nation or a person will do any thing to stay alive. I will humbly request the readers of my writing to take time out for internet surfing and read some frightening and aggressive threats of obliterating of the weak ones, who do not fit into the enslaving eyes of the most powerful and mighty nations.

I am not a citizen of those weak cornered nations, but those awfully ugly threats can frighten very much even the strong heart. Is this our humanity is coming to. I wouldn’t blame much those chicken-hearted leaders of some weak nations, who have chosen to be slaves in order to stay alive. But, for sure, you need the heart of a tiger if you want to survive or stay alive from the position of weakness.

Humanity does not allow the strong to chew up the weak. It is like jungle or an open door zoo, where the hungry wild animals are wandering around to eat up the weak. Only those amongst weak, who have acquired a few nukes may or may have some luck of not being eaten up.

There will be no instability in Korean theatre or around. A weak state, and person, with little bit of security is less prone to be suicidal.

The world in general and the great powers in particular has to show some flexibility and kindness to the weak ones. The world today is totally spinning out of control with threats coming the ways of the weak.

The instability and danger lies ahead only if an un-abortive strike is made to finish off North Korea. A failed attempt on that and leash of three or four nukes by North Korea on Japan can prove a murderous assault on the world economies.

End
