Peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue vital for regional peace: APHC

SRINAGAR: All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has expressed the hope that the peaceful resolution of Kashmir conflict would pave the way for peace and stability in South Asia. APHC in its executive and general councils meeting, presided over the Conference’s Acting chairman, Maulana Abbas Ansari, expressed this hope here. The participants of the meeting also thanked the government of Pakistan for its continued diplomatic, moral and political support. In a statement issued after the meeting, India has been asked to focus on the Kashmir issue sincerely for its early resolution. A seminar would be held at the APHC main office here on the eve of Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5, which would be addressed by Conference leaders Professor Abdul Ghani Bhat, Maulana Abbas Ansari, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Sheikh Abdul Aziz, Azam Inqalabi and other intellectuals.
