Israeli blockade: An act of hostility…!

Israeli blockade: An act of hostility…!

Full cessation of hostilities is the first word & paragraph of the UN resolution 1701 and despite this crystal clear”resolve” approved by the security council and accepted by the concerned states, the Israeli air & sea blockade of Lebanon still continues.

In this way the Jewish state is failing to fulfil its legal & moral obligations to comply with the resolution by shunning all acts of hostilities/war against the sovereign state of Lebanon.

This behaviour tantamount an arrogant breach of the resolution in question and this mindset of aggression & hostility do minimize the chances of peace in the region.

The UN must use all its available resources to end this inhumane blockade to create more homogeneity and an atmosphere of understanding for the success of peace & stability in the region.
