MUSAKHEL: Armed men chopped off the lips and nose of a woman in the Musakhel district on Sunday.

Police said that armed men chopped off the lips and nose of a woman, the wife of Qadir Qaisrani, in the Killi Jharo village in the Drag teshil of the Musakhel district. The assailants managed to escape.

The injured woman was rushed to hospital, where her condition was stated to be very serious due to intense bleeding. Naib Tehsildar Drag reached the hospital and registered a preliminary report against the suspects.

Further investigation was underway.
