AMMAN: The first convoy of pro-Palestinian activists detained in the Israeli raid on the Gaza aid flotilla arrived in Jordan after being deported from neighboring Israel.

Pakistani journalist and two other Pakistanis are part a convoy comprised of more than 100 people of Arab countries. The convoy crossed the Jordan River at sunrise Wednesday aboard four buses.

Jordanian Government spokesman Nabil Al-Sharif says there were 30 Jordanians in the group.

Three Pakistanis will likely leave for home today from Jordan. Twenty people were killed and 60 injured in an Israeli attack at aid flotilla traveling to Gaza.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Tuesday the United States backs an Israeli probe of an Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound ship but it must be "prompt, impartial, credible and transparent."

"We support in the strongest terms the (UN) Security Council`s call for a prompt, impartial credible and transparent investigation," Clinton told reporters. "We support an Israeli investigation that meets those criteria."

End.

I am a devout Muslim and I am against extreme behaviour. But what the Catholic Church has done, in the persecution, massacre, humiliation of Muslims in Bosnia, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan, Palestine, Kashmir, and East Timor in the name of democracy and freedom. Church interferes in the internal affairs of China in a bid to isolate and de-stabilise China. What if the Catholics living in the Muslim world from Indonesia to Morocco, especially in Lebanon, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Turkey, Syria, Egypt, Malaysia, Morocco, more than 100 million of them paid some kind of price for that? What if the same happened to Catholics what is happening to Muslims in Palestine or what happened to Muslims in Bosnia? Would this make a common Catholic question Vatican about its devious policies aimed at attaining complete and total world domination? If we had retaliated against the Spanish Inquisition by targeting Catholics living in Muslim World, we may have prevented all these later massacres.

With all do respect! All through history those who claim the moral high ground, no matter what religion, have been responsible for the torments of non-believers. Look how the Jews have been treated by Christians and Muslims throughout history. Christians in the middle ages killed Jews if a Christian child turned up missing in the village. Do you think Jews in Israel would survive 24 hours if they didn't defend their borders against Muslim aggression. The streets in Israeli cities would run red with the blood of Jewish children. Throughout history Catholics have treated members of other Christian groups in very harsh ways. You being a devout Muslim should not minimize how Muslims treat other Muslims because of differences in reading the Koran. And don't forget how some Muslims treat people of other faiths. Since childhood I have found it interesting how those who believe themselves to be "true believers", of what ever faith, justify killing in the name of their chosen belief system and in the the name of God. My prayer, Lord forgive them all they do not know what they do. I am not stating my religion because I do not want my comments distorted or minimize by those who come from a different religious background. How sad!
