85 Yatris arrive for 466th death anniversary of Guru Nanak

NANKANA SAHIB: A group of 85 Sikh Yatris reached here on Sunday to observe the 466th death anniversary of Sikh's Spiritual Leader Baba Guru Nanak Duo Gee Maharaj. Chairman Pakistan Temple Bandhak Committee, Sardar Mastaan Singh welcomed the Sikh Yatris led by Vice President Delhi Temple, Balayo Singh. Sikh Yarti will set off for Narowal Temple Kartarpura alongside the Ravi River after their two-day stay at Nankana Sahib. Sikh community from Pakistan will also attend the ceremony of the 466th anniversary of the Guru Nanak. Talking to Online, Leader of the Sikh Yatris said that recent Musharraf-Manmohan interaction will bring long lasting consequences and all disputed issues including Kashmir and Baglihaar Dam will be resolved at the earliest. About the relation of the Sikhs and Muslim he said that there are no differences between the two nations and efforts of the India-Pakistan leadership lessened the rifts between the both sides. Replying a question about Khalistan, he added that Sikh nation cannot forget the incidents of Golden Temple and Delhi mishap.
