KATHMANDU, August 29 (Online): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that Fifth SAARC Information Minister Conference, being held today in Kathmandu- capital of Nepal, would help to enhance relations between the member countries of SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation).

Sheikh Rashid Ahmad expressed these views while speaking to journalists in Kathmandu on Sunday.

Information Minister said that this conference would help to strengthen relations between media of the SAARC countries. Referring to Pak-Nepal bilateral relations, he said that both countries enjoy friendly and brotherly relations.

Earlier, Information Minister of Nepal, Thikar Khi and Pakistani ambassador in Nepal, Sohail Amin tendered warm welcome to Sheikh Rashid Ahmad at arrival in Kathmandu.
