ISLAMABAD - Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said spreading anarchy is the sole objective of Imran Khan’s Plan-C, asking him to take responsibility for the chaos his workers caused in Faisalabad.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Monday afternoon, he said majority of the people of Faisalabad had rejected the call given by Imran. He refuted the media reports and the PTI claim that a PML-N worker shot a PTI worker dead in Faisalabad. The culprits would be brought to book, he added.

The federal minister said all democratic forces of the country were united against the nefarious designs of anti-state elements to derail democracy. He said Plan-A of Imran Khan was an attack on democracy, Plan-B was to create panic and scare in major cities, Plan-C to create chaos and Plan-D to destroy the entire country.

To a question, Pervaiz Rashid said the government was ready to resume the stalled dialogue process with PTI to resolve the politics crisis. He appealed to Imran Khan not to indulge in politics of dead bodies and have mercy on the masses.

“Imran Khan is inciting the people to violence. He asked his workers to go on rampage and scuffle with police in Faisalabad,” he said.
The minister called upon Imran Khan to shun politics of violence and prove to be a mature politician. “When democratic forces were rendering great sacrifices, Imran was enjoying cricket,” he said, adding Khan was reaping fruits of democracy which we restored after a great struggle.

“The government has shown utmost tolerance in PTI’s case, but its patience should not be misunderstood as its weakness,” he asserted.

Pervaiz Rashid said Imran Khan was keeping his children at safer abode, but spoiling the lives of children of Pakistan. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif even went to hospital to see Imran Khan and then to his residence in Islamabad, which showed the government’s fair intentions.
