ISLAMABAD: Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdul Aziz Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Ghadeer has expressed hope that the Pak-Saudi ties would further strengthen in the days ahead as they are exemplary and no two other countries could produce the model of such relationship between the two people in the world.

“Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, keeps the interests of Pakistan close to his heart, and he has special love for the people of Pakistan.” The Saudi envoy was expressing the views on the occasion of the dinner that he hosted in honour of Pakistan’s ambassador designate for the Saudi Kingdom Muhammad Naeem Khan at Saudi House here in the diplomatic enclave.

Ambassador Abdul Aziz Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer said that new ambassador for Kingdom is proceeding to Riyadh when the Holy month of Ramazan is to begin in few days. The Saudi Royal administration has made the best possible arrangements for the pilgrims of Umrah who will be thronging in great number. At the same time Haj will be due after three months and for that too he Saudi Government is making elaborated arrangement for the comfort of the intending pilgrims. Saudi ambassador said that the government of Pakistan has picked the best diplomat for assigning ambassadorship in the Saudi capital who will work for further strengthening of the bilateral relations.

Ambassador designate Muhammad Naeem Khan thanked Ambassador Abdul Aziz Al-Ghadeer and said that he is going to the Saudi Kingdom with a message of enormous goodwill by the leadership of Pakistan for Saudi leaders.

Naeem Khan was Additional Foreign Secretary, Administration, in the headquarters and has also served as the ambassador of Pakistan in Philippine before the current assignment. He is expected to leave for the Saudi capital to take up new job next week.
