KUWAIT CITY, December 05(Online): Pakistan and Kuwait have assured to expand their economic relations and the need for making OIC more efficient.

President Musharraf expressed these views during his meeting with Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al- Sabbah, the other day.

The meeting between the two leaders lasted for quite a while in which matters pertaining to bilateral interests, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pak-India relations, Kashmir issue, Palestine issue, current state of affairs in Afghanistan, Middle East and other international and regional issues were discussed in detail.

The Kuwait PM expressed his heartfelt condolence over the loss of numerous lives in October 8 killer earthquake underling that Pakistan must not feel alone in this critical juncture.

He lauded the efforts of President Musharraf in view of making OIC effective.

Both the leaders also discussed on relaxation of visa policy for Pakistani workers.

Later, Kuwait PM hosted a dinner in the honor of President Musharraf. The dinner was attended by large number of high ups, dignitaries, foreign Ambassadors and members of delegation accompanying President Musharraf.
