While addressing the inauguration of work on a link road project near Walton Station in Lahore on Sunday, he said that Pakistan Railways has enough oil reserves for fourteen days, which will be increased up to thirty days with the passage of time. The minister said that all possible measures were being taken for decreasing the losses and increasing the income of Pakistan Railways.

Saad said that green belt would be built on both sides of rail track from Shahdara Lahore to Raiwand and all wastes will be removed from this area. The minister said that he alongwith LDA DG, PHA DG, Planning and Development Chairman and other officials were visiting from Shahdara to Raiwind on inspection train to review the matters in this regard.
