PLM-N expelled Wajeeh uz Zaman Khan, MPA from KP

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Monday 9,March,2015 expelled Wajeeh uz Zaman Khan, MPA from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from the party by terminating his basic membership for violating the party discipline during the recent Senate election.
According to the termination letter, signed by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, also the party president, the MPA had been found guilty of gross misconduct for having committed an act which was against the party policy, ethics and discipline. The letter quoted a news item saying that the MPA had announced to field and support his close relative as an independent candidate for the Senate from KPK.
Furthermore, for some personal gains, he also deliberately proposed another non-PML-N candidate and seconded yet another non-PML-N candidate. “It was surprising for the party that under a false pretext and in sheer disobedience to the PML-N’s decision and direction to vote, support and assist Senate candidate of the PML-N from KPK,” it said.
