Noor Jehan's daughter Zille Huma passes away in Lahore

LAHORE: Pakistani singer and the youngest daughter of the legendary Madam Noor Jehan and filmmaker Shaukat Hussain Rizvi, passed away on Friday, succumbing to a long-term illness.
Zile Huma was suffering from kidney infirmity as well as diabetes and had been under treatment for the past many months, both in Karachi and Lahore as well as abroad. She leaves behind four sons, namely Ahmad Ali Butt, Mustafa Ali Butt, Muhammad Ali Butt and Hamza Ali Butt. She was 70 years old.
It was reported that Zile Huma's condition was deteriorating rapidly before she passed away and the doctors had to amputate one of her legs due to severe diabetes. She was also hospitalised at Agha Khan Hospital, Karachi before she was shifted to Lahore reportedly about eight to 10 days ago. She died peacefully in her sleep on Friday at 7:45am. Her funeral prayers were held after Asr at her home in Garden Town, Lahore.
""Inalillahe" my beloved mother Zille Huma passed away peacefully this morning 7:45am. Namaz e janaza will be held at our Garden Town house after namaz e asar. May Allah grant her heaven and peace every after. AMEEN. (sic)," Zile Huma's son Ahmad who is a musician as well as an actor and a host posted on his Facebook profile on Friday.
Condolence messages and heart-felt support came pouring in from all over the country as well as Zile Huma's relatives from abroad, as soon as the news of her death was revealed.
