NCA expressed satisfaction on Pakistan’s response to India

ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the National Command Authority (NCA) on Wednesday expressed satisfaction on Pakistan’s response to Indian incursion in the country’s airspace The meeting presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan reviewed the situation arising after Indian incursion in the country’s airspace. Sources said that Strategic Plans Division Force (SPD Force) Director General Lieutenant General Sarfraz Sattar apprised the meeting about nuclear capabilities.
The participants of the meeting expressed satisfaction over the Command and Control System.
The participants of the meeting expressed satisfaction on Pakistan’s response to Indian incursion, while PM Imran Khan lauds Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) counter strike. The military leadership also briefed the meeting about professional preparations of the armed forces.
The meeting was attended by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Zubair Mahmood Hayat and Army Chief General Qamar Javaid Bajwa. Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, heads of sensitive institutions, security officials, Director General Strategic Plans Division were also present in the meeting.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Federal Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal and Finance Minister Asad Umar also participated in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, PM Imran Khan said that Pakistan reserves the right to defend itself, adding that the nation has full confidence on the capabilities of the country’s armed forces. “Government, armed forces and masses are on the same page,” he added.
National Command Authority (NCA) is Pakistan s principal decision making body on nuclear issues. The NCA consists of an Employment Control Committee and a Development Control Committee, as well as the Strategic Plans Division which acts as its Secretariat.
