ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday visited the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi and chaired a high-level meeting on national security.

The meeting, attended by Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and senior military officials, discussed current security situation in Pakistan. The meeting also focused on the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb military operation and the future course of action following the recent attack of terrorists at a school in Peshawar that killed more than 140 persons, mostly children.
