PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has vowed to make a model and corruption-free government in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Khan arrived here for his first-ever visit to Peshawar on Monday, the capital city of his party-led KPK province.

After recuperating from his severe injuries and joining National Assembly's session in Islamabad, Khan met his KPK's party leadership to congratulate them for successful running of the provincial setup.

While addressing the media, Imran Khan vowed to establish infra-structure of the provincial setup and declared that PTI government would publish every development contracts on government's official website which earn PTI government the public trust. He said drone strikes link Pakistan to United States war against terrorism.

Moreover, Khan added that poverty and unemployment had been increased by the terrorism attacks. PTI chief urged the prime minister to summon an emergency meeting to settle down issue of terrorism.

He said an ideal accountability body would be formed while government officials, ministers and leaders would be answerable to public.

Khan said assets of all members of government would be published on government website so that no politician may raise his personal business.

He said a corruption-free appointment in government jobs would be made so that government employees may serve people.

He vowed to establish cricket, volleyball and squash facilities at tehsil level across the province for revival of supports in Pakistan. The sources closer to PTI said that Imran Khan will address the provincial cabinet at Chief Minister Secretariat while meeting with political coalition partners is also expected during his visit.
