ISLAMABAD: Announcing the expansion of his protests into four major cities of the country on Friday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan rejected the allegations that he had a personal enmity with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

"I pray to God Almighty that Premier Nawaz Sharif be blessed with the courage to speak truth public ally," Imran told his charged supporters in a sarcastic tone from atop his container on Friday night. Imran declared that the PTI workers will stage protest demonstrations in four cities – Karachi, Multan, Lahore and Faisalabad – on Saturday (today) against the Nawaz Sharif regime.

"PTI has informed its point of view to the army chief that we will not trust the incumbent premier during the investigations of poll-rigging and match fixing in last general elections," Imran told the crowd.

He said the government "which was formed through rigging has to surrender". He added that he will announce the future course of action on Saturday about whether to expand the sit-ins to other major cities of the Pakistan.

The PTI chief declared that his party had never demanded of Premier Nawaz Sharif to involve the army to broker a political deal and categorically rejected the speech delivered by the PM in the National Assembly (NA) on Friday. Imran Khan rejected the current democratic system, saying "this system is serving a tiny ruling class, pampering their bank accounts and patronising an elite class enjoying the perks and privileges like autocratic rulers on the taxpayers money".

Imran Khan said the current government of the PML-N "has lost its moral authority to rule the country. He said PM Nawaz Sharif is frightened and has started telling lies public ally, as he is aware that if he steps down from premiership all his businesses "and kickbacks he receives" will be exposed. Addressing the sitting parliamentarians Imran said all of them are going to destroy the system while protecting the "fake and fraudulent parliament".
