ISLAMABAD: An exchange of blows reportedly occurred between a PTI and a PML-N member during a meeting of National Assembly's Standing Committee on Communications on Tuesday.

Two of PTI MNAs – Saleemur Rehman and Hamidul Haq who have already submitted resignations – attended the meeting. The quarrel erupted when Saleemur Rehman whispered in one of the member's ear the 'go Nawaz go' slogan.

On hearing it, PML-N member Sar Zammen Khan got angry and later both Khan and Rehman resorted to slapping and punching each other in the face. However, other committee members and chairman, Sufyan Yousaf, intervened and calmed them down.

End.
