Ghulam Ahmad Mir urges India to end HR violations in IHK

Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement, Ghulam Ahmad Mir has urged India to put an end to human rights violations and release all Kashmiri leaders and activists illegally detained in different jails of India and Kashmir.
Ghulam Ahmad Mir addressing a meeting at Thana Mandi in Rajouri also called upon New Delhi to shun its policy based on traditional obduracy and intransigence and provide all Hurriyet leaders with travel documents for their upcoming visit to Pakistan.
Other speakers, on the occasion, stressing that the Kashmir dispute should be resolved through talks called upon India to reciprocate Pakistan's positive gestures.
Prominent among those who addressed the meeting included Mirza Zafar Khursheed, Farooq Khan, Akhtar Hussain Advocate, Ajmal Khan, Sawar Khan and Chaudhry Shabbir.
