Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza King Abdullah was offered at Faisal Mosque

ISLAMABAD - Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza for late Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz was offered at Faisal Mosque here on Saturday 24,January,2015.
The largely attended prayer was attended by Adviser on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz, former caretaker prime minister Mohammad mian Soomro, political leaders, diplomats of Muslim countries, Ulema and citizens. Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Mohammad Yusuf led the prayer.
Speaking to journalists afterward, the religious affairs minister said that the death of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz was a great loss to the Muslim Ummah. He said in his death, Pakistan has lost a sincere friend.
He said that King Abdullah always spoke about Pakistan with love and affection and helped Pakistan in difficulties which cannot be forgotten. Sartaj Aziz on the occasion prayed for the health of new Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and hoped that he would follow the footstep of the late King.
