Fresh anti-Western protests in China

BEIJING: Fresh protests outside branches of French retailer Carrefour broke out in China on Sunday, state media said, a day after massive anti-Western demonstrations hit the country.
People gathered in front of Carrefour supermarkets in several Chinese cities, chanting slogans of "Oppose Tibet independence" and "Oppose anti-China statements," the official news agency said.
