Division of Kashmir not to be accepted: Sultan

ISLAMABAD: Former AJK Prime Minister and head Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Muslim League (JKPML), Barrister Sultan Mehmood Ch. has said that no conspiracy regarding division of Kashmir would be accepted by Kashmiri people.
Talking to reporters here Thursday, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Ch said that Kashmiri people should be given right of plebiscite according to their wishes as they are the main party in the dispute and both Pakistan and India should respect their wishes, he added.
Expressing his views over the suggestions of President General Pervez Musharraf for the resolution of longstanding issue of Kashmir, former AJK Prime Minister said that the idea of self-governance is vague.
Terming the Sardar Attique a puppet Prime Minister, former AJK Prime Minister said he was brought in to power just to cover the immense irregularities in reconstruction and rehabilitation funds.
Denying his role to disturb public gathering of AJK PM Sardar Attique in Birmingham, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Ch said that Mangla Dam affectees have expressed their dissatisfaction on the incumbent AJK government.
The workers of Muslim Conference instead of criticizing me should ask their own leadership, he added.
