'Disgruntled' Hashmi reaches Multan to make decision on PTI long march

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and senior politician Javed Hashmi has reached his home town Multan amid speculations that he had developed some serious differences with the party over its proposed long march on Islamabad.
Speaking to journalists he denied differences with any party official including Shah Mehmood Qureshi. He said that He was in good terms with Qureshi and PTI chairman Imran Khan also consulted him in party matters.
Hashmi, however, said that he had very clear views on democracy for which he languished in jails. "Democracy is part of my faith and protection of the democracy is my politics," he added.
The PTI president further said that he came to Multan in his constituency whenever he was struck in a difficult situation. He said that he will talk to media about his plans with regard to PTI long march in the evening.
Earlier, sources said Javed Hashmi had expressed reservations over the long march after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's announcement to set up a judicial commission to probe Khan's allegations of poll rigging.
The sources said that the veteran politician expressed reservations over Imran Khan's reaction to the prime minister's announcement.
Javed Hashmi and his aides switched off their mobile phones and were not answering to calls shortly after the reports of differences emerged.
