LAHORE: Chief Minister, Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif said that the thumping victory of PML-N in the bye-elections has proved that people have complete confidence in the policies of N-League.

In a statement on Wednesday, Shahbaz Sharif said that the gang and its allies, which set records of corruption have badly been defeated in the by-elections and looters and plunderers have been rejected by the masses.

Shahbaz Sharif said that people are well aware of the fact that PML-N under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif considers politics as a source of public service and mega projects worth billions of rupees have been completed for the uplift and prosperity of the masses.

He said that there is no doubt that the corrupt gang will be held strictly accountable in the general elections as well and the masses will repose their confidence in PML-N. He said that corrupt Zardari gang should beware that the days of looters, thieves and dacoits have been numbered.

The CM said that Allah Almighty has granted success to those who have served the masses selflessly during the last four and a half years.

The Chief Minister further said that it is the responsibility of the successful candidates of PML-N to come up to the expectations of the people of their constituencies and follow the politics of public service.
