Three civilians, four cops inured in Pattan grenade blast

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, four policemen and three civilians were injured in a grenade explosion at Pattan.

A senior police official said, "Unknown persons hurled a grenade towards Pattan Police Station on late Wednesday evening. The device exploded inside the police station injuring four cops and three civilians. The injured were hospitalised where condition of one of the injured civilians, Bashir Ahmad Beig is stated to be critical,"

On the other hand, five persons were killed in separate accidents at different areas of Jammu, Kathua and Samba districts.

Meanwhile, more than 40 persons were killed and nearly 500 were injured in road accidents in Srinagar and Baramulla districts till June this year.
