No signs of improvement in upcoming budget: Khursheed Shah
20 May, 2014
SUKKAR: Opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah said that Ishaq Dar's speeches and hints indicate that there will be no betterment in the upcoming budget.
Talking to media on the opening ceremony of the twelve days campaign against measles in Sukkar he said, neither the salaries will increase nor the load shedding, inflation and loans will decreased.
Khursheed Shah said we pray that those things would happen about which Ishaq Dar is talking but I think that we will be standing on the same place where we are at present.
He said to ensure peace is the responsibility of the center and Mian Nawaz Sharif already said that there will be expenditures on Karachi operation and center will bear it and it is my request to him to pay the required amount to the government of Sindh without wasting time.
He said, that he has been saying from the first day that there should be no clash between institutions and today the situation is quite clear, everyone is speaking, some one is with Geo and someone is with ISI and someone is protesting for his right and it seems we are not advancing towards betterment.
Shah said that he already demanded to issue the passport and ID card to Altaf Hussain.
Earlier addressing the ceremony on measles at Sardar Ghulam Mohammad Mehr Medical College the opposition leader said, we will have to fight against measles without any discrimination and we also have to use modern technology.
He said it is most unfortunate and shameful the way the world remembers Pakistan regarding Polio. We are compared to countries like Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan.
The world is helping us in every field so we should also use all the funds honestly, we do not need ineligible people.
End.
