India killing Kashmiris through its puppets
09 August, 2012
SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah has emphasised that India is carrying out killings in the territory through its puppet organisations, National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party.
Addressing a public rally at Sindhbal in Gandarbal, Shabbir Ahmad Shah said that the international community should take cognizance of the fact that the people of occupied Kashmir were facing the worst type of state terrorism.
The rally was also addressed by Hurriyet leaders including Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash and Javed Ahmad Mir. They said that India should leave Jammu and Kashmir and allow the people to exercise their right to decide their future themselves. The addresses of Hurriyet leaders were punctuated by high-pitched anti-India and pro-liberation slogans.
A college student was martyred and several others were injured during an attack by the activists of National Conference on the worshippers in a mosque at Sindhbal in Gandarbal on Monday. The Muttahida Ulema-e-Ahle Sunnat of occupied Kashmir in a session presided over by Maulana Ghulam Rasool Hami condemned the killing.
The veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, addressing a press conference at his residence in Srinagar denounced in strong terms the statement by Indian police authorities that he was free to move anywhere and was not subjected to any sort of restrictions.
The veteran leader pointed out that he was always placed under house arrest and not allowed to reach to the people. He maintained that the police vehicles parked around his house were testimony to the fact that the claims of Indian police were a total fabrication.
In Brussels, the Chairman of Kashmir Centre, European Union, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo in a statement said, the international community was of the firm opinion that peace in south Asia would remain a far-fetched dream until the dispute over Kashmir was resolved.
Hurriyet leaders, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, Maulana Abbas Ansari, Bilal Ghani Lone, Muhammad Yasin Malik and Mukhtar Ahmad Waza visited the residence of senior APHC leader Agha Syed Hassan Al Moosvi in Badgam and condoled the death of his mother-in-law.
