Gas shortage triggers protest in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Residents of the city protested against unavailability and shortage of gas here on Monday.

According to reports, the angry protesters threw stones on textile factories and at Jaranwala Road, demanding smooth supply of gas.

The protesters included a large number of women and children also chanting slogans against the authorities.

"The gas shortage has caused great trouble as we are unable to cook anything to eat", one of the female protesters told media.
