Commander Southern Command visited Afghanistan

RAWALPINDI – Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Nasir Khan Janjua visited Afghanistan today 23,January,2015 and met his counterpart across the border.
Matters related to border security coordination and ways and means to further enhance the existing mechanism were discussed. It may be mentioned that On January 18, Peshawar Corps Commander Lieutenant General Hidaytur Rehman also visited Afghanistan and met his counterpart.
These visits are aimed at enhancing the ongoing Pak-Afghan cooperation and will help boost confidence between armies of the two countries.
