KARACHI: Bird flu at the law enforcing agency (LEA)’s poultry farm located on the Super Highway here has been confirmed.

Sources said that the blood samples were sent to Islamabad, following the 2500 chicken casualties at a LEA farm on Super Highway here and, thereafter, this morning bird flu in chickens was confirmed, while the remaining 4000 chickens were already culled.

However following the receipt of the report, the employees of the farm were cleared and allowed to go anywhere. Bird flu virus has been confirmed in the two farms here.
