7 civilians injured by unprovoked Indian firing in Charwa sector

PASRUR: Indian troops' unprovoked firing and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir as well as at the working borders continue, while seven civilians were killed in the latest incident of firing and shelling in Charwa sector on Monday here, our sources reported.
Earlier, three persons were injured in the bordering village of Kasur by the Indian firing and shelling, while the citizens in Sialkot and Narowal sectors fearing for their life by the continued firing and shelling from across the border have started evacuating the areas.
Rangers' sources said that the Indian troops went on wanton firing and shelling in Kasur sector yesterday evening, injuring three villagers of Damala village. Later, the Indian guns were silenced after a befitting reply from Pakistan side.
On the other hand, Indian troops have continued unprovoked firing and shelling for the last five days in Sialkot and Narowal sectors making the life of the villagers unbearable. It has almost become a routine for Indian troops who start firing and shelling just after the dusk forcing the citizens to remain confined to their houses.
The villagers in Chaprar, Bajwat, Sajit Garh, Umranawali and Shakargarh sectors have borne the main brunt of the Indian troops' firing and shelling, as the shelling keep hitting their houses and injuring several of them. While a large number of people have shifted from their native villages in Bajwat and Umranawali to some safer places away from the bordering areas.
This unprovoked firing and shelling by the Indian troops, which started from October 15 have thus far martyred two Pakistanis including one soldier of the Rangers and two injured.
