Youm-e-Takbir to be observed with enthusiasm

ISLAMABAD: To mark the 10th anniversary of Youm-e-Takbir, different functions would be held across the country with enthusiasm today (Wednesday).
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has finalized all the arrangements to celebrate the day in a befitting manner and the leadership of N-League have been directed to organize the functions on the provincial level.
Quaid Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz, Mian Nawaz Sharif would participate in a ceremony to be held in Lahore, after eight years. A special ceremony would also be held in the capital in which besides others, Zafar Iqbal, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Iqbal Zafar Jhagra would participate.
PML-N would also takeout a rally in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
On the occasion of Yom-e-Takbir, glowing tributes would be paid to nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan for his valuable contribution in Pakistan’s nuclear programme and would raise demands of removing restrictions on his movement.
Pakistan conducted nuclear test on May 28, 1998 in response of Indian nuclear tests.
