Wasim Akram passes on Special Olympics Torch to actor Akshay Kumar

LAHORE: Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram Tuesday handed over the Special Olympics World Cup Torch to Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar at the Wagah border checkpost that separates India and Pakistan.
Akram, who was accompanied by his wife and hundreds of people who were specially challenged, carried the torch to the Wagah border from Lahore`s Shalimar Gardens.
Thereafter, some Pakistani players participating in the Special Cricket World Cup slated for November 6-13 in Mumbai besides Wasim Akram entered into India.
Pakistan, Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Nepal and India`s men and women cricket teams would be participating in the Special Cricket World Cup.
