ISLAMABAD: Banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has disassociated itself from deadly attack in Islamabad Kachehri that killed 11 people including a judge.

According to s statement, TTP spokesperson Spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said that Taliban have declared ceasefire and it has nothing to do with the Islamabad incident. He further said the TTP's factions are obliged to follow the orders of chief Taliban's chief Mullah Fazlullah.

He said they were struggling for Shriat and violation of ceasefire is equal to defiance of Islamic laws. The spokesperson also said they had directed all of their factions to stop militant activities across the country.

He said anti-state elements are doing propaganda politics and Pakistani media is also showing irresponsibility in covering the incidents.

Shahidullah said they are not responsible to find out the culprits. However, the banned outfit will take action if anyone is found involved in the incident. At least 11 people including additional Session Judge Rafaqat Awan were killed and several others injured in the firing and following twin suicide blasts in district court of the federal capital.

On Saturday TTP had announced a month-long ceasefire in a bid to revive the stalled dialogue process with the government.

Reciprocating to move, government also announced to the halt the surgical against Taliban in Federally Administrated Tribal Areas along the Afghan border.
