Suspected shooter is not related to me: Sanaullah
10 December, 2014
FAISALABAD: Former Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah Khan said on Tuesday that the suspected shooter, who killed PTI worker Haq Nawaz yesterday, is in any way related to his family or the PML-N. Sanaullah read out the registered FIR and claimed that PTI has nominated the wrong person in the case. Imtiaz, son of Siraj, has been nominated for shooting dead PTI worker in Faisalabad, the PML-N leader said while reading out the FIR.
However, Sanaullah presented PML-N worker Imtiaz before the media and asked reporters to identify if he was the same person who was caught by television cameras firing shots in Faisalabad. Sananullah showed a picture of a man and said he had never seen that man, which PTI has accused him to be a PML-N activist. “The PTI has labeled this man as Nadeem Mughal, which is a blatant lie,” he said. He also distributed a clear photograph of the suspected shooter among the reporters. Dismissing media claims that the suspected shooter was identified as Nadeem Mughal, Sanaullah also presented Mughal before the media.
He further said that Plan-C of PTI Chief Imran Khan was nothing but politics of corpses.
He added that Imran has hijacked the country through jalao-ghirao (burn and siege) politics to achieve his nefarious designs. He said that the PTI seems to have sacrificed the life of at least one of its activists in its protests across different cities under ‘Plan C’. Addressing a press conference here, he said Imran was pursuing the agenda to stop development process in Pakistan. A game of ‘siege and burn’ was played in Faisalabad, he slammed. Sanaullah, said he would present himself before the team investigating Faisalabad riots yesterday and killing of a PTI worker.
