LAHORE: PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has demanded Nawaz Sharif to seek an apology from the nation for supporting a dictator 25 years ago who addressed the Punjab Assembly at a time when Nawaz was the chief minister.

He was talking to the media on Sunday after condoling with State Minister Akram Masih Gill on the death of his father. As a tit-for-tat reply to Nawaz who, on the same day, had stated that his party was ready to welcome Shujaat into its fold if he sought pardon from the nation for supporting a dictator, Shujaat said that Nawaz should first of all apologise to the nation for the sin he had committed 25 years back. He also ruled out an alliance with the PML-N for the sake of power.

Later, Shujaat also visited newly-elected Senator Kamil Ali Agha. Kamil Ali Agha who stated that he had been blessed by God once again and would continue exposing the elements who conspired against him during the Senate polls.

End.
